The OV1 series features robust low-pressure axial fans with a steel housing, designed for wall installation. With aluminium impellers and a durable, high-performance build, these fans are ideal for supply and exhaust ventilation systems in commercial buildings, offices, workshops and industrial environments. Wherever high airflow with low system resistance is required, OV1 fans deliver efficient and reliable performance.
Construction and Design
Each fan in the OV1 range is made from powder-coated steel, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. The aluminium blades are dynamically balanced to reduce vibration and ensure smooth, quiet operation. An external terminal box with cable allows for quick and simple electrical connection.
This solid construction and precision engineering guarantee a long service life, low maintenance and consistent airflow even under demanding conditions.
Motor and Safety
At the heart of every unit is a single-phase external-rotor asynchronous motor with thermal overload protection and automatic reset. The slide bearings ensure stable, low-noise operation and long-term reliability. With IP44 protection, the fans are safeguarded against splashing water and dust, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.
Speed Control
OV1 fans can be operated via thyristor or transformer controllers, offering stepless or stepped speed regulation. This enables users to fine-tune airflow for precise ventilation control. When using multiple fans, the maximum current of the controller must not be exceeded.
Installation and Application
Installation is straightforward with the square mounting plate, which ensures stable and low-vibration wall mounting. Electrical connection is made through the external terminal box following the supplied wiring diagram. OV1 fans can be used both as part of ducted systems and for direct air discharge.
