Punto Four Range

Vortice PUNTO FOUR MFO Series: Discreet axial fans for walls, ceilings & false ceilings

Optimised fans for humid environments, available in three nominal sizes Ø 90 mm, Ø 100 mm, Ø 120 mm

The Vortice PUNTO FOUR MFO range is built for one purpose: deliver quiet, effective extraction without compromising the look of the room. The distinctive closed front panel hides the intake from view and sits flush with modern finishes, while an optimised axial impeller moves air efficiently on direct discharge or short duct runs. If you're planning ventilation for compact bathrooms, WCs, utility spaces or light-commercial areas, this category brings together what specifiers need most: low sound levels, reliable airflow and installation-friendly design.

Options

Punto Four MFO Standard: on / off via light switch (on-site)

Punto Four MFO T: adjustable timer 3 - 20 minutes

Why PUNTO FOUR MFO?

Because they blend discreet aesthetics, quiet acoustics and practical engineering - everything a modern small-room ventilation scheme needs to perform well and look good.

Housings are moulded from UV-stable white ABS that resists yellowing and cleans easily. A built-in backdraught shutter prevents cold air ingress when the fan is off, improving comfort and energy performance. Depending on the model, you either get a run-on timer (T-versions, adjustable 3 - 20 minutes) or compatibility with Vortice speed controllers (non-timer variants). All units are IPX4 splash-resistant and Class II (no earth required). Thanks to a short spigot, the fan can be positioned right before a 90° elbow - handy when space is tight. Installation on wall, ceiling or false ceiling is straightforward, with an optional condensation seal recommended for ceiling mounts.

Performance that respects the room

The newly engineered impeller is tuned for high air delivery at low noise, so moisture and odours are cleared quickly without disrupting conversations or routines. Self-lubricating sintered-bearing motors with thermal overload protection are designed for quiet, long-life operation - ideal for duty cycles where the fan runs frequently but should barely be noticed.

Sizes & options for a precise fit

The line-up includes six models across 90, 100 and 120 mm, each available as a standard unit or as a T-model with run-on timer. That flexibility lets you match duct diameter, control philosophy (switching, automatic overrun, or external speed control) and installation position with confidence. For ceiling installs, specify the condensation gasket to protect the aperture and stop drips.

Where they shine

PUNTO FOUR MFO fans excel in wet rooms and compact spaces with short ducts, from guest WCs and shower areas to changing rooms, staff facilities and small treatment rooms. The closed front design not only looks refined; it also reduces visible dust in the intake and simplifies wipe-down cleaning. The backdraught shutter keeps the cold out when the system is idle.

Selection guide

Diameter: choose 90/100/120 mm to match ductwork.

Airflow vs. noise: for typical small rooms, 100 mm is the sweet spot; opt for 120 mm when longer runs or higher air changes are needed.

Control:

  1. T-models provide an adjustable run-on - great for clearing residual humidity.
  2. Standard models pair with speed controllers to fine-tune duty.

Orientation: the range allows horizontal, vertical or diagonal mounting; ceiling installs benefit from the condensate seal.

Compliance: IPX4, Class II—ready for humid zones.

Operation & care

A smooth faceplate makes daily cleaning effortless. Motors are built for continuous or frequent cycling; the backdraught flap is passive and maintenance-free. Adding a timer or humidity control (external accessory) tailors runtime and cuts unnecessary energy use.
